Janis,
Any news Marc? I'm hoping for the best for you.
I haven't seen anything either.
Bummer... very sad.
Quite so.
Yeah, it's due for a run... With the mess I ran into when I switched systems... well, things just got a bit too crazy. Glad you asked
though - I'll get one out shortly.
One of the items I used for ham radio traffic nets has bit the dust.
I tried a reinstall, and a downgrade, but none would work. So, I posted
out messages that I would not longer be available on the mode of D-Star,
for nets or otherwise...considering I can't afford any electronics for
it.
UPS lost another package to me (that's why they're pronounced OOPS <G>),
so, I have to check with my cardiologist to see if I should just return
the heart monitor I was using. It ran down early Sunday morning, and
without the patches (two of the original ones were defective, so I had
to order replacements), the device is useless. I may still need ablation surgery for the atrial flutter...but for now, the medication, and stopping
the caffeine (hated to give up the diet green tea citrus and chocolate,
as that kept the migraines away), have stabilized the heart rate and the
blood pressure.
With the remnants of Tropical Storm Nicholas, I may be offline for a
time this next week, with a threat of thunderstorms.
Daryl
