  • Help getting an address

    Hi everyone,

    I'm trying to get back into FidoNet (was a point system way back in 1993-94), and have reached out a couple of times to my RC/NC (same person) and haven't had any luck getting in touch. I've even tried to get on a few of the system in my network but haven't been able to get on their systems either.

    I was wondering if anyone would allow me to be a point on
    their system until I can get my address woes sorted out.

    I can sort it out for you even without going via a point address. You can get a fully fledged address here, as long as you meet the required functionality as an FTN node..

    Might be good to let us know the RC/NC you tried to contact and which net the BBS's are in your tried.

    I was trying to reach out to T.J. Barlow. He's the RC/NC for the area. I've tried 1:15/0 (the region) and 1:114/0 (the network).

    ... Difference between a virus & windows? Viruses never fail.
