I have never seen this error before... ???

If I had to guess, his system is set up to only accept bink calls from systems that are configured on his end, or possibly he doesn't have a
fido
nodelist in place.
Mike
... I do believe the BBS software by default only accepts Bink calls
from defined systems.

I'm new to FidoNet... still working out some kinks... Real Name is Stevenout
orth, should show up in the nodelist for all soon....
That's a bug. Any none Pvt node in the nodelist should be able to
receive crash mails.

Good to know. Thank you. The latest nodellist now has 1:218/900 defined. Do
you mind trying it again?

Maybe your mailer doesn't know Zone 2 is in fidonet too? Which could be
a configuration issue, but I don't know anything about WWIV...
Bye, Wilfred.
21:13:01 Error (NETWORKB-0004): Unable to find common nodes in: 2:221/1.58@fidonet
= 21:13:01 hangup
- 21:13:01 exiting
I have added the routes for zone 2 into the FidoNet configuration for WWIV. In theory the above error should be resolved.

I think that is the issue. I will add 2:* to the routes for Fidonet tonight, and see if that resolves.

Does any zone 1 node connect ok to your system?
Thanks for testing. I will continue to diagnose. The hub node I connect to works fine. I don't see other errors in my logs.
