  • Nuking Hurricanes

    Hello Everybody,

    US President Donald J. Trump has figured out a way
    as to how to save the USA from getting hit by massive
    hurricanes -

    "I got it. I got it. Why don't we nuke them?"

    There you go. Nuke `em, baby! And watch what happens!

    "They start forming off the coast of Africa, as they're
    moving across the Atlantic, we drop a bomb inside the eye
    of the hurricane and it disrupts it. Why can't we do that?"

    The POTUS really said that. At a White House briefing.
    And this is what he was told after he asked the question -

    "Sir, we'll look into that."

    As one senior administrative official explained, "His
    goal - to keepa catastrophic hurricane from hitting the
    mainland - is not bad. His objective is not bad."

    I can just see it now. Rather than having a hurricane
    hit New Orleans, we will get a massive dose of radioactive
    fallout. As well as lots of water that glows in the dark.

    A National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
    fact sheet about tropical cyclones explains the problem
    and calculates - "This is not a good idea."

    I believe an unnamed official that was in the room at the time went on the record and said something like "after he said that, the room went so silent, you could hear a gnat fart"
