    Simply, give your "ok" for Janis to update, then REviewed later at your convenience. :)

    The time you invested in writing all your defences here is probably far
    more it would take to review.

    Janis' has stepped up to take the responsibility to update things. She
    has done the WORK. Embrace that. There will be plenty of "eyes" to spot
    any errors. By the time you come around to look, errors (if any) would be long gone.

    Whether I "ok" a rubber-stamp to someone's work or I sit on it for eternity really depends on the quantity of impatient soapbox cutsey remarks I have
    the pleasure of reading from you, my predecessor and a few others. The less I receive, the likely the former. The more nonsense, the more of the latter.

    The time I spent replying to your nonsense just cost you and others the time for me to look at whatever changes want to be published. The site could of been updated for this weekend. Instead, maybe I'll sit on it. Because I can.

    Ah yes, the "because I can" argument... I feel the same way you do as far as feeling sorry for Nick and how busy he is. But don't worry, while we wait for Fidonet.org to "someday" be updated, other mirror sites have been updated, i.e., filegate.net/zone1 and fidonet.ca/zone1, plus I expect a number of sites in Fidonet who mirror those two sites on their own.

    Fidonet.org will remain broken as it has been for years and it seems that the owner of that domain, Ward Dossche, does not really care if it is broken. That is his prerogative...

    And then we have ZC1 who claims that the more I post in the FidoGazette, and post 'cutesey' comments the longer he will take issuing the "OK" for the change. That is his prerogative as well.

    This whole silly discussion reminds me of the maxim 'You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink'

    Stop using the Fidogazette as your soapbox with your "crickets chirping" unnecessary nonsense, stop perpetuating myths about how ZC's do not change, and I will be more than happy to rubber-stamp whatever things you want done.

    My statement stands - I will refuse to process anything shoved across my desk as ZC1 unless I am treated fairly, politely and patiently. I am still a Sysop at the end of the day. It would be nice if you would be appreciative of this.
