    I missed some issues these last few weeks, mea culpa, etc. It
    was indeed my fault.

    First I was bummed out beyond belief at the loss of someone in
    my family due to the corona virus... Then once somewhat past
    that, well this months' antics by our favorite 'orange wonder in
    chief' was enough to make me pretty disgusted with our
    Government and the state of our country while we try to fight
    the corona virus (Commedienne Sarah Cooper can only do so much
    for people in the U.S. sadly enough, but I believe laughter is
    still the best medicine for pain of all types and she's great at
    what she does).

    And here we are coming up on the 4th of July this Saturday, a
    day normally reseved for friends and family, a date with our
    barbecue grill and steaks, hamburgers and hot dogs. But no one
    will be coming here on the weekend, it is just too dangerous.

    So we'll celebrate the holiday and be glad that all in our
    family are safe and doing well. I hope all in your family are
    safe as well.

    Why not adjust the newsletter to be just every two weeks. Since year 2000
    a weekly mag for anything-fidonet hasn't been necessary.

    However, a weekly nodelist or an echomail stats report is still useful.


    So we'll celebrate the holiday and be glad that all in our
    family are safe and doing well. I hope all in your family are
    safe as well.

    Being "safe" is starting to be meaningless when personal re$ource$ are depleting fast and banks and credit cards do not provide complementary adjustments in light of the broken and unbalanced economic model.

    I'm sorry to hear that, August. Since we are retired over here that type thing hasn't hit us. It must be rough for you though, and I'm sorry to hear that.
