    Hello, All.

    I'm curious as to whether anyone is familiar with DOSbox apps on Android? I know primarily they ate used for playing old DOS games, but I've been experimenting with other programs.

    I've installed a couple of Point programs, specifically D'Bridge and OpenXP 4.0, but I can't figure out what I need to do to get it to see my wifi.

    Any ideas?

    Most likely, there are problems with the drivers. It is very doubtful that someone wrote drivers for this.
    It may be possible to write the drivers b yourself.
    I remember that I found a DOS emulator on Windows Mobile 6 and network support was implemented there. It was called PocketDOS.
    Android is not an operating system, it is a Google advertising platform. You may need to replace Android with an operating system.

    The drivers is what I was afraid of. I'm dealing with a stripped down DOS inside of a bastardized Linux Kernal, so of course anything useful would be lacking.

    The only one that I know of that's in active development is Magic Dosbox. Haven't fooled around with it and getting it on the network though. I know it's got support for networking though don't know how extensive. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bruenor.magicbox

    I'm checking out the Free version now. It only allows 1 program, but if I can get Telnet for eXample to work I'll spend the couple of bucks tp upgrade.

    The fork of DOSBOX I use at home has NE2000 emulation using pcap; you
    don't see the wifi directly in DOSBOX. That makes sense, actually,
    since the NE2000 is a common card, and there's packet drivers and
    support in old DOS environments. You might not find DOS drivers for a
    new wifi card if DOSBOX just passed it through.

    Unfortunately, I can't locate one as of yet for the DOXBOX apps on Android. I'd like to be able to do offline readers on my phone.
