Shane,
I have found that my autoupdate is not working. I am on version
1.445. If I try to update I select telnet or dial up and after a few
checks I get the message "We are sorry but the autoupdate server was
unable to find your registration"
My registration # is 07-2898, and I have verified that my key code and registration number are entered correctly.
Suggestions?
This was fixed in the update available as of today.

completed update, read docs, set items in config sys as docs instr
still does not work. Read book for 4 hours last night. My problem probably lies int he fact that after I read my administrator manual I have to find all the small docs that show the changes. Is there a complete file of current documentation? It would be great to have current information to reference as I set this up.
Jeff, download ftp://ftp.santronics.com/files/autoupdate.zip , unzip to
your wc5 directory and overrite the autoupdate.exe, then try it again.

I had done that. Andrea fixed me up, said that the registration was not
in the system yet.
After update new problem. My Platinum express says it will not load
because my wcsrv.dll file is reporting version 1.445 and my platinum
xpress is for the original version. My front end it out of service now.
How do I now update my platinum xpress. I have downloaded the update
file and patch.exe and run them previous to the upgrade.

You probably have the dll in your px directory. Be sure you update it
also by copying the new one over.

Hi Hector,
I encountered a problem with vmhelper.dll when using th wildcat
navigator under windows 2000.

Is this something that happen after installing, after already using
WCNAV on W2K?
Yes it happened when I used it under windows 2000 to connect to my bbs using local telnet.
I installed windows 2000 in my system that has win95 without upgrading
the win95 in it. Then I installed wildcat navigator. Maybe I should have removed the old installed wcnav under win95 since their using the same directory :-).
My board is getting popular here in Manila thanks to Winserver and ofcourse Santronics! Im currently offering free internet email here and internet access (certain hours of the day).

Probably. I had installed wcNAV on a fresh w2k machine. No problem.
What I was asking though, if you had installed it successfully, then
had it working successfully for length of time, and then at some
later point this vm*.* file error occurred. I am just wondering if
this is an installation issue or something else over wrote some wcnav files.
Hi Everyone!
I am having a problem trying to connect to my local server only with the Wildcat Navigator. The error message is something like this: A user
account cannot be created for your name. I am using wildcat navigator to this bbs writting this message, so I can't recreate the message, but
that is what I believe it was exactly. What is the cause for that error?
I can not get into my system with WcNav but wclocal yes, I can login
using the same account name without any errors.
Using Wildcat 6.1
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks again!
Brian
Ruben,
A ton of messages got dumped in several echoes, apparently
from your system, with email addresses in them...wasn't sure what was going on.
