What did it say?
WCDOORNT.DLL is installed by wcSETUP, but also when you go into DOOR
SETUP in wcconfig and also the standalone utility:
CheckWcDOORNT.exe
Wildcat! v6.2.452.1 wcDoorNT install/remove utility
CheckWcDoorNT <option>
Options:
/install check and/or install the wcdoornt.dll file
/remove remove the wcdoornt.dll file
/check check only wcdoornt.dll file, do not install

Jerry, I would try to install Catapult instead under Windows 8.

I had the same trouble with Windows server 2008 32 bit, I have a regfile
made up that I will upload tonight or tomrrow morning if you need it.

I also have this problem, as well as the web server not enabling, under
Win8Pro. I have a laptop with XP on it, and it fired right up and we
access worked fine out of the box. Windows 8 not so much.

Hello Scott
Well being I'm not a software engineer I don't really know whatMicrosoft
changed with Win 7, 8 or Windows Server 2008 32 bit and doors notworking,
but I can tell you that I have been running Windows Server R2 64 bitwith
WinXP running on top of it through Oracle VM virtualbox for about four
months without a glitch.
For that matter I'm shocked at how well my doors run now with this
configuration.
Greg
is that wcnavigator will not run on windows 7 or 8 64 bit.
avg is triggered when wconline loads, with a fault in wcsrvmsg.dll
Wound up having to reinstall the OS on the server, to fix the problem with the web server not being able to be enabled.
the only big problem I have right now, besides avg reporting a virus on
the installation cd,
avg is triggered when wconline loads, with a fault in wcsrvmsg.dll triggering the virus protection.
