MMMMM-------------------AIR FRIED APPLE WEDGES------------------------
2 md Gala apples
1/4 ts Ground cinnamon
2 tb Unsalted butter; melted
3 tb Sugar; for coating
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon; for coating
MMMMM----------------CARAMEL WHIPPED CREAM DIPPIN---------------------
4 oz Whipped cream
1/4 c Caramel sauce
These delightful air fryer apples are a quick and easy treat,
bursting with cinnamon goodness, and pair perfectly with a creamy
caramel dip!
Begin by peeling the apples and removing the cores. Slice them into
1/4" thick pieces.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the apple slices with the melted
butter and 1/4 ts ground cinnamon. Toss gently until each apple slice
is well coated.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes or until they are tender and slightly
crispy.
In a small bowl, mix together the 3 tablespoons of sugar and 1/2 ts of
ground cinnamon. Once the apple wedges are done, remove them from the
air fryer and immediately toss them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture
until well coated.
In a mixing bowl, gently fold the caramel sauce into the whipped cream
until well combined. Be careful not to overmix to keep the whipped
cream light and fluffy. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 10
minutes before serving.
Once the apple wedges are coated and ready, plate them up and serve
with the chilled caramel whipped cream dipping sauce on the side.
