    MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Crusty Booger Balls
    Categories: Dairy, Nuts, Halloween
    Yield: 1 Servings

    14 oz Can sweetened condensed
    -milk
    5 1/3 c Flaked coconut (about 14
    -ounces)
    8 oz Box lime jello mix
    1 c Ground, blanched almonds
    1 ts Almond extract

    In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk,
    coconut, 1/3 cup of the unprepared jello, almonds, and
    almond extract. Mix well with a large mixing spoon or
    rubber spatula.

    Cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill for about an
    hour or until mixture is firm enough to mold in your
    hands. Scoop by 1/2 teaspoonfuls and shape in various-
    sized booger balls. Place them on a baking sheet, lined
    with a sheet of waxed paper. Make sure they are all
    slightly different, just as each and every booger is
    unique and special.

    Place a second sheet of waxed paper on work surface
    and pour remaining unprepared jello on the center of
    waxed paper. Roll each ball in jello to coat well and
    create a thin outer layer. Then place back on the
    baking sheet.

    Return boogers to the refrigerator for an hour before
    serving, and store any extras in the refrigerator.

    Makes about 5 dozen just-picked treats.

    One of my local Stupormarkups sent a bunch of "seasonal" recipes to my
    e-mail. Here's a dandy:

    MMMMM---- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Chicken Mozzarella Monster Sliders
    Categories: Poultry, Cheese, Breads, Vegetables, Sauces
    Yield: 12 servings

    12 Breaded chicken breast
    - strips
    12 sl Mozzarella cheese
    1 c Marinara sauce
    12 Slider buns
    24 Pimento stuffed Manzanilla
    - olives
    24 sm Toothpicks

    Bake chicken strips according to package directions.

    Meanwhile, on a cutting board, cut cheese edges in a
    jagged pattern to resemble teeth. In a small saucepan
    over medium heat, add marinara. Cook, stirring often,
    until simmering, 5-8 minutes.

    Arrange bun bottoms on a serving platter and layer each
    with 1 tablespoon marinara, 1 chicken strip, an
    additional 1 tablespoon marinara and 1 slice mozzarella.
    Add bun tops.

    Skewer an olive onto each toothpick; insert 2 toothpicks
    into each slider to make "monster eyes."

    Serve immediately.

    Title: Green Grassy Cow Patties
    Categories: Desserts, Fruits, Nuts, Grains, Cookies
    Yield: 24 Servings

    3 oz Pkg lime jello
    1 c Hot water
    1 c Sweetened, shredded coconut
    1/2 lb Butter; softened
    2/3 c Firm pack brown sugar
    1/4 c Sugar
    2 lg Eggs
    2 tb Milk
    2 ts Vanilla
    1 3/4 c Flour
    1 ts Baking soda
    1/2 ts Salt
    2 1/2 c Old fashioned oats
    1 c Chopped walnuts
    1 c Currants

    MMMMM--------------------------TOOLS---------------------------------
    2 sm bowls
    1 lg mixing bowl
    Slotted spoon
    Paper towels
    lg Spoon
    Cookie sheet
    Spatula
    Wire cooling rack

    Set oven @ 375ºF/190ºC.

    Mix jello and hot water in a small bowl. Stir until jello is
    dissolved. Add the shredded coconut, stir and set the bowl
    aside.

    Beat the butter and sugars until creamy. Add the eggs, milk
    and vanilla and beat again. Set aside.

    Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Add
    this to the big bowl and stir well. Stir in oats, nuts and
    currants and mix.

    With a slotted spoon, separate the shredded coconut from the
    gelatin and set the coconut on a few paper towels to drain.
    Place another 2 paper towels on top of the coconut and
    press, squeezing out any liquid. The leftover jello is not
    needed. Add a cup of Spoon out tablespoon sized lumps of
    dough and place them 1" - 2" apart on an ungreased cookie
    sheet. Bake 9-10 minutes until golden brown. Allow lumps
    (which should now be shaped like steaming patties) to cool
    on cookie sheet for 1 minute. Then, put on wire racks to
    finish cooling.
