    i just heard there a 2-month sales-tax holiday on "essentials". since books/research/newspapers/stationery were considered essential during the lockdowns, it is good to hear that the definition is extended to this tax holiday.

    For further context, the gubberment of canada decided to give Canadians a 2-month tax break on "essentials" ..starting Dec 15th to Feb 15th.
