But I didn't see any posts here.
My shoutcast station won't play from the directory. It tries to load
I'm running the Windows64 2.61 server with Rocket Broadcaster Pro. I've got more than one station, (shoutcast and icecast), and didn't have any stable luck using winamp plugins like that.

The shoutcast directory.

It doesnt' allow for multiple stations, so I'm using a paid option. Does your station play from the directory?

No, I bought a broadcasting software from Rocket Broadcaster Pro. It
allows
for multiple stations unlike the winamp plugin. I want my station to play from the directory; I want as many people listening as possible. I have contacted them, but they haven't gotten back to me. I'm wondering if this is working for anyone on here who I could actually talk to. Is your station playing from the Shoutcast Directory? And yes, that is an answer; that's what it's legitimately called in technical terms.

you have to make sense first to talk to someone here. It's a free listing. I'm hoping someone on here is actually using it and could help. My broadcaster has nothing to do with it, the sc_serv program is connecting to the shoutcast yellowpages by default, but I can't get that entry to work. You obviously can't help, but thanks for answering any way. You did more than anyone else!
go check out the forums for your crappy rocket broadcaster.
i don't do anything with those shoutcast.com guys. they are just people that bought a domain and are using the shoutcast name.
i'm not even sure if that's "the" shoutcast directory.
If you want to be listed on their listings, you probably have to pay. that
