    Not considering IP/PoE cameras?

    As per header.

I'm looking to replace my CCTV cameras and DVR but I see cameras are
available as CVI, TVI or AHD and ditto the DVRs

Which is best quality and why?

I see EX-SDI and HD-SDI have not really made any inroads in the UK but
is widely available in the US.

no as I want to put the cameras as in-house digital TV channels
alongside freeview using AHD/TVI/CVI to HDMI transcoders and HDMI to
    DVB-T modulators

Unless you know of a way to get an IP feed into my Freeview TVs?

Use NDI, either via a pc or a decoder such as Birddog. The former costs
very little, NDI decoders rather more.
