Out of interest, how does radio get away without providing a text service
for the deaf? There’s an awful lot of factual programming on Radio4 that just isn’t elsewhere.

Yes, they used to do so /and/ (going back even further) provide a link to
a clip of the relevant bit of the programme.

Over the years, they have cut right back on the amount of information on
the BBC website. You used to be able to go to most programmes' website
and get more details but rare to find much now. Quite often just a link
to the recording on iPlayer.
