• Farting masts

From Brian Gaff@21:1/5 to All on Sun Jun 19 16:11:54 2022
I just had to do a small modification to the aerial mast as it made this farting noise when the wind was in one direction. All it was, in the end was
a small flap of duct tape down the bore of the mast tubing. Its amazing how such small sounds can be amplified by structures and other things. I'm sure
we have all heard the rattling noise but tracking down the loose element is
a whole other job, and I begin to wonder if Magpies or Parakeets have a screwdriver and turn screws when thy get a bit bored.
