• Buying opportunity?

From Woody@21:1/5 to All on Sat Jan 29 13:15:51 2022
Just been into our local Homebase and find they are selling off what
appears to be most of the electrical bits from when they were Aus owned.

    F-type in-line 4G antenna filters - which I seem to remember being
    around £7 - for 39p apiece.

Decent quality stereo phono cable 1.8m for £1.13.

Quite a lot of wall plate module for PST, RJ45, single and double aerial sockets both in white and black (am I allowed to say that?) for pence.

Phono socket adapter 1 in 2 out or vice versa plus 2 phono socket to
3.5mm stereo plug adapter, the pair for 30p (they are selling the 3.5mm
adapter alone in the same sale for 75p!)

If you have need ATMIT here's your opportunity......?

I assume you mean a module of colour?

There was a Homebase near me. They closed the business rather than
renew the lease, and the site now has planning permission for sheltered housing.

I would have enjoyed picking up clearance items like the ones you
describe, but I don't want them so much I would take the hour's journey
by car each way to what is now my nearest Homebase, for things that
would just be nice to have.

My nearest one closed too about five years ago, now a B&M Home Store with Garden Centre.

Homebase still email special offers, but it is quite a trek to their nearest store now, and I have not bought from them since.

    Black and white aren't 'colour'.

    Black and white aren't 'colour'.

White is the absence of all colours and black the addition of all colours.

In respect of light the opposite is true.
