• Pick and Sky News (not) on Freesat

From PeterC@21:1/5 to All on Wed Mar 22 17:13:39 2023
For three days both of these channels haven't populated when the EPG
    updates.
I don't watch Sky - just keep it as then I've a whole number of pages in the EPG - but do watch a couple of things on Pick.
Any ideas as to why - or is there some route to ask Freesat what's going on?

Are you asking about the Freesat EPG or the Sky EPG?

The Sky one seems to have been working for me. (there is stuff occurring
on the EPG of a couple of weird really obscure channels but Pick and Sky
    News are working okay)

Talking of sky, Even on freevieew, Pick and Challenge seem to tell me some gibberish about sky arts container when you select them before the actual channel appears. Whether its just what the screenreader in my Samsung sees, orits really there is debatable.

Well, Freesat. They're back again now.
In other 'news', last night I had 2 programmes set to record at 21:00h on
the Foxsat HDR. As they started an alert came up saying that there was a conflict with Look East on BBC 1 - that programme finishes at 19:00h! Lucky that I was there.
