On the Etsy Apps pages, which I have an app listed, the icon to upload must be 170x135 pixels (px). I created an image this size and when I uploaded it and it was used as the image for my app the Etsy Apps page img tag limited it's size to 60x60 without
regard to the fact the original image was not square. This causes image distortion on the y axis giving my logo a stretched appearance.
Because the first image associated with an app is the image used for the icon when a user clicks through to my app detail page the image is then shown as 170x135 and the dimensions are correct. So, if I create an image as 170x170 then scale the image to
170x135, deliberately squashing the image, when the Etsy App page will render it to it's intended scale when the page incorrectly sizes it to 60x60. (https://www.etsy.com/in-en/shop/RDKJewellery?ref=profile_header)
