Yes, and it checks your IP address shows you are in the UK.

they are allowed to watch BBC television?
The BBC are heavily promoting their new series 'Ten Pound Poms' but I am
sure I have only heard them saying that it can be watched on iPlayer.
It is of course also on BBC 1 at the same time.
Is there a policy now to promote only iPlayer?
Don't know but the lot run jointly who run stuff like Quest, really and W and also ITV X are doing the same. Available to stream now on..., and its often some time later it finds itself on the broadcast systems.
