• old-fashioned HF (and MF?) jamming?

    From J. P. Gilliver (John)@21:1/5 to All on Mon Apr 4 14:14:50 2022
Given the increasing censorship (or so we are told*) in Russia, the BBC
World Service in Russian is presumably more important than it has been
    for a while.

I was wondering: is old-fashioned jamming of its HF frequencies (and MF
if it's using any) happening? Probably not easy to find out, as we'd
really need to hear from people in the target areas, who probably can't (safely, or possibly not at all) tell us.

    * I'm aware I'm probably as susceptible to propaganda from _our_ side as others; I _think_ I'm getting a better picture of what's going on than
they are, but of course that's what home authorities on all sides want
    their people to think.

The jamming would be easily detectable in 'friendly' territory I should
    think.

Just head over to a WebSDR website located nearby and hit up some frequencies...

No signs of jaming on the short wave frequencies listed for the World
Service - but no signs of any Russian programmes either.
