Lots of the scientific investigation is being taken up from said POV and justification is being sought. That is a flawed approach to scientific research. Ask any metrologist how well formed our science is on simple
day to day weather patterns. It's nuts to suggest we can comment definitively on 100 or 10,000 year trends in global climate, we cannot
even comment definitively on the causal factors yet and are decades away from doing so.
I'll say it again, this is tree hugging luddites trying to take us back
to the golden age (which never existed)

The notion of man made global warming is the biggest lie ever told on this planet. This is simply to extract eye watering amounts of "guilt tax" to repair an unfixable issue. We are simply still receding from the last ice age, that process has not yet
completed and probably wont for another two thousand years!!
It is clear that in the past the UK was a tropical area (look at the Jurassic coast fossils) and the Artic was also warm (the reason its got crude oil). Dr Judith Curry is a climate sceptic and author of over 12 books on the subject, yet is silenced by
the advertisers of this doom story in favour of the nonsense spoken by the schoolgirl Greta Thunberg, its preposterous!!
For the record, the UK contributes 0.2% (one fifth of one percent) to global warming, so banning every single petrol and diesel vehicle, oil and gas boiler and turning off the electricity would make zero difference to the planet as a whole!!!
Read the facts, digest them, understand what is being talked about and the ramifications to your and your family's wealth and stop this hobbyhorse s#it now.
