• Should I signal

From soup@21:1/5 to All on Sat Mar 23 23:59:51 2019
A roundabout I travel over some times feels like the straight ahead
exit is well to the right, as the lead on road and the road I want are
beyond 180° I feel a signal (right indicator) is required. However
following lots of cars today no-one seemed to signal including a learner
driver but as he signaled off and was generally doing everything right
I felt the instructor hadn't said "now remember to indicate here".

However on looking at it on Google to see if the layout was as in my
mind saw that I was correct the off road was well past 180° to the lead-
on road, BUT looking at the environs the roundabout is very much on a
curve, and the off-road at 200° or so is very definitely the second exit
so would YOU signal or not?

Since there is another (very minor) exit after that one, and no other
traffic signals right for the main route, I would not either.

The right hand lane is for straight on, as indicated on the road, no
indication to the right needed. If you were heading for the 3rd exit
then indication required to the right. Indication to the left when
exiting will smooth the traffic flow coming from the other direction.

And the off-road is precisely straight ahead, as the curve is before an after the roundabout.

Some people have no clue about indicating. My neighbour never indicates right, even when taking the 3rd or 4th exit on a roundabout. His response to someone who entered right in front of him almost causing a collision was "of course I was turning right,
or I would have been indicating left!" And since he never ever overtakes anyone, he might aswell remove that bulb.
