    "...on the pavement..."

Ooh... never heard of that before, eh?

"The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where

    "...serious injuries..."?

Hang on... that can't be right... as May Sun and all the other trolling chav-cyclists who used to frequent this NG were wont to assure us, it is *impossible* for a chav on a chav-bike to injure anyone else or damage
    anything else.

Or that if it does happen, it can't be a serious injury.

Or that if it is a serious injury, it cannot possibly the chav-cyclist's
fault and has to be the pedestrian victim's own fault (for having the
cheek to walk along a footway).

Or that it is IS the chav-cyclist's fault, it's really the fault of some unknown and unidentifiable driver who was less than five miles away from
the chav riding his chav-bike on the FOOTway.

And that anyway, pedestrians don't matter and that FOOTways should be
reserved for the use of chavs on their chav-bikes.

That's about the size of it.

But let's see what May Sun makes of it (silence gives consent).
