• Wishy-washy QRM on 2m

    Getting this terrible drifting narrow(ish) band noise on 2m tonight. Before I break out the DF gear, has anyone seen anything like this (*) before and found out what's causing it?

    I get that sort of thing on 4m , Generally at night, so I assume it's a
    dodgy LED fitting. It drifts up and down the band and sounds fuzzy.
    Solar inverters will only give bother during the day. Time of day
    therefore might give you a clue. The noisy Xmas tree lights seem to
    have gone now. I have found df-ing this sort of stuff difficult,
    particularly intermittent stuff.
