    Bloody digital® . The Datong FL-1 had an auto notch back in 1979. I was
    too poor to afford one so I build the DJ6HP design which used 4 741
    op-amps. I re-built it a few years ago for nostalgia using high quality capacitors and a TL074 quad op amp. It was nowhere near as good.
