• What' wrong with rec.radio.amateur.moderated

From Julian Macassey@21:1/5 to All on Fri Mar 10 08:10:24 2023
rec.radio.amateur.moderated is a group run by authoritarians
who think the only suitable posts are announcements, This make the
group useless. But I suppose they like it that way.

Have you had any posts rejected? I thought that the main problem with rec.radio.amateur.moderated was that any 'personal' posts usually got
submerged in all the (mainly USA orientated) announcement clutter -
hence the need for a moderated NG aimed at the UK. [I have to admit that
I rarely look at the posts in rec.radio.amateur.moderated. They simply
come in, sit there for a couple of weeks, then expire unread.]

One rejected with a Kafkaesque generic response telling
me that I had failed in some way. Another that just disappeared.

I wonder if either was rejected by the moderators, or just failed in some technical way??

Thankfully they are no longer polluting this NG with their BlogSpam.
