    Can anybody check how you step in 1 Mc/s steps rather than ham bands on
    your FT857D....not just what it says in the manual which I think must be
    wrong ....

    nah no good the push in function of the select knob doesn't
    work....shows up in the menu though as setable for various
    functions.....oh well

    MHz crystal ones. Apart from the 817 I avoided those like the plague. I
    did have a 480SAT for a while, that was nice but I ended up getting rid
    of it because nobody had the CW or CWN filters at the time. I'd have
    another one.
