    New 40MHz band proposed

    Apparently a 40 MHz band is being proposed experimentally

    It will be available for those who apply who have an old A class licence
    and who took a 12 wpm Morse test.

    If you have the old B class licence you can apply for a voice only
    licence but only if you passed the old style written examination.

    Sanity returning at last .....watched an old DVD from the 80's with Paul
    Merton and he was using a G2 plus three callsign which are now available for the asking...how ahead of its time....
