Police Scotland has already said it doesn't have the resources to
investigate every 'low level' crime, in which they include some
burglaries as well as criminal damage. I suspect that will, in practice,
mean they are only really going to take action in the most severe cases
and most of those are already covered by existing UK wide legislation.
