but you could do worse than follow the guidance of the Diocese of London
on what to do in the circumstances you outline.

No apology needed. Although I'm afraid the rest of the thread has
disappeared from my newreader. OP here, btw.
FWIW the original problem was AFAIK sorted by having firm words with the parent(s). Which wouldn't of course stop the problem recurring with
another family.
