This has been going on for years but this particular example has moved
me to finally put finger to keyboard.
I'm talking about television adverts where the thing being advertised
doesn't even exist.
Adverts for computer games will often have a rider at the bottom of the screen saying something like "Not actual game footage".
Car adverts will sometimes state "Car shown not to UK spec".
The one that has finally tipped me over the edge is the latest advert
for the Toyota C-HR that blatantly states something to the effect of
"Car shown is a concept car and is not available to purchase"
WHAT???
Why is the Advertising Standards Agency allowing this to happen?
