    Hello,
My girlfriend have massive issue at work and hopefully she could find any solution here as we have no idea what to do.

    Her story:
My car is getting constantly vandalised in my work car park.

I work for Amazon, I'm not a manager, team leader etc, I'm literally
nobody, just a number with lowest wage and then yet I've been targeted
and bullied for over a month now.
First scratches on my car I noticed randomly on 20.03, I didn't even
think that it happened at work. In the same week from Wednesday 22nd till Saturday 25th I had several new scratches on the paintwork. I've reported that to security - they said it's not their problem, they even refused to check cctv. After long argument they told me they haven't got any on the
car park which isn't true. I've reported that situation to my manager, to manager of my manager, to site manager that I don't feel safe, that
someone was stalking me, observing at what time I'm in my car, which one
is mine, where usually I park etc and then after all of that hassle they agreed to raise the situation to relevant department to check the cameras. While waiting for an outcome I was trying to move my car around the car
park, just to not make it easier for person who target me. I was checking
it on every break, sometimes walking out randomly from building to see if there is anything new.
After over a week I got response from my manager that they checked
cameras, they did see random people walking around my car without any
reason to be there as I parked on more empty side but "nothing was enough suspicious, we can't go to anyone and ask if they've done it and it was
too dark, too far away etc".
Basically Amazon with statement of 0 tolerance for any kind of violence toward employee is allowing this and don't want to take any action or responsibility for it.
For 2 weeks nothing happened, I was still moving
my car around, parking on crowded side, parking next to better and way
more expensive cars that would be more likely scratched etc. I thought at this point that someone dropped it because it's not that easy to find
this one specific car between all of the others.
I've ordered a dash cam to finally feel safer leaving that car and didn't have to be worried for my 10h shift. I didn't have a chance to install it because yesterday on 21st it happened again during 1,5h time slot. I
reported it straight away, gave location and pictures to help catch the person but reaction from operations manager was just inappropriate. Guy
was trying to convince me that it happens to many people and from what I
felt that it's not a big deal so why I'm moaning about it.
For me it is a big deal, I really have enough, my mental health is at the edge of breakdown as someone started to hate me this much and for me it
will be hard to belive that I gave someone reason for it as I stay away
from people, I don't talk to them, I just like to be alone, far away from
    all kind of drama.

    My questions are:

    - Is there any chance to get any compensation from Amazon as my
property was damaged at company car park during my working hours several times even if Amazon claims that "amazon private car park is not amazon's" ?
    - I've never reported anything to police yet, been told police can't do anything and they would just drop the investigation due to low cost of
the damage but is it something they could actually do in this matter? I
must be observed by someone and at this point how should I know that one
day someone won't follow me home?
    - Is there anything I can do?

I would be grateful for any answers, thank you for help in advance.

I’ve followed this thread with interest.

I’d like to suggest another approach. Let me start by saying I am not suggesting your girl friend is remotely to blame for these events etc.

That said, if she can determine why she is being targeted, she may be able
    to identify the culprit(s).

I get the impression she ‘keeps herself to herself’ at work. Even so, is there anyone she may have offended in some way - quite innocently, possibly something trivial?

Has she been promoted over someone?

Does she work more overtime than others?

Did she perhaps refuse to take part in a party or office sweepstake?

Being female, is there some other female jealous of her? Some male showing unwelcome interest?

None of the above is intended to offend etc but some people can over react
and could be taking ‘revenge’ on an innocent victim. There are odd people everywhere.

This is criminal damage and should be reported to the police. Whether they
do much about it is another matter but you never know.

Some ASB policing is done by gathering "intelligence" from such reports
and they can be worth making. If it helps your understanding of what
usually happens there, summary crime report data for a given locality can
be viewed on https://www.police.uk and other sites.

I believe you can request security video footage of yourself in the car
park under the Data Protection Act. I doubt this extends to footage of
other people approaching your car; however locating your D.P.A. footage
may make Amazon look more closely than they have done at other activity
in the car park. Admittedly this doesn't seem very promising but it costs nothing.

They do have that in their policy. Can they actually enforce that and
trully not be responsible for anything?

It won't absolve the company against being liable for something that
is within their control, such as damage due to the state of the car
park, but is there to remind people that they are not responsible for
things that are not within their control. Acts of vandalism usually
    are not covered.

..but one employee targeting another on company premises is surely
something that they have a responsibility to at least try to deal with.

They need to deal with the bullying. However, I doubt their
responsibility extends to paying compensation for damage to the car.

Sounds like criminal damage to me.

We've reported it to the police, they have asked management for the CCTV footage and we are very curious what will happen next. I have to say I've opened anonymous post on amazon facebook group and asked how many people had issues with the same thing,
people replied that their cars had stolen catalyst converters, bicycles were stolen, motorcycle was stolen, cars had broken windows, had rocks thrown at their cars, unbelievable! And worst thing is - nobody has reported that to police and in all of those
cases - security told them they don't have any evidence and they don't care.
