The BBC fuck up everything they take over. This year its the Proms. I
tuned in to find a bunch of coons playing what sounded like Jazz.
Jazz! At a prom concert?? WTF are they thinking? Honestly I have
nothing against coloured people, but this is the second night on the
trot there's been no classical music. Don't give me all this guff
about 'inclusiveness' - this is the cultural equivalent of ethnic
cleansing. The BBC should be done away with forthwith, the ignorant
    c*nts.

the stage, the National Youth Orchestra were very good this year

Saw them a few years ago now performing Oliver Messiaen's Turangalīla >Symphony complete with Cynthia Millar playing the original electric
keyboard and wire instrument the Ondes Martenot.

    Just go there and enjoy!,

    Enjoy Messiaen?

The Proms has always had awful music in every programme, as a kind of
penance for the audience to go through before listening to something
    decent.

Once or twice I noticed a programme when there wasn't any horrible
modern stuff, but the tickets for those evenings were inevitably sold
    out months in advance.

Good job your not into Opera, I think the waits sometimes Ten years for tickets at the Wagner Festspielhaus in Germany !..

Wagnerian parents have to put their children's names down at birth. Or
you could go to Covent Garden and understand what the operas are about
    from the surtitles.
