It looks as if the answer is no. But the odd thing is that 2150L is the >QIC-02 variant, and the 2150S is the SCSI version. Are you sure of what
you have? We only ever used SCSI, but that was rather a long time ago...

Hi Andy, yes our Ferranti Argus 700 computer has QIC-02 interface and
the 2150L tape drive but these are becoming very difficult and
expensive to support. For some reason the 2150S is a much more
reasonable proposition and have a few in readiness of finding a SCSI
conversion to QIC-02.
An aside, as you probably know the rubber capstan material can go
beyond sticky and become almost liquid; our quick solution is some
rubber tubing cut to length, it is a perfect fit over the metal
capstan and produces exactly the right diameter!
