From Koopa@21:1/5 to All on Tue Sep 13 15:35:15 2022
Placed a pre order for an iPhone 14 Pro Max earlier today, I normally
upgrade every four years. Got my 6 Plus in October 2014 and replaced it
with current XR in January 2019 although it was released in September 2018.

It’s now September 2022 and I’m upgrading upon its release like I did with 6 Plus. Looking to get £175 for my 128GB XR selling privately.

A smart faker would exactly forge the headers to a degree that makes it impossible to identify him.

The case - or let's say our identitiy forger - is/does exactly the
opposite. Burnelli/Arlen/Ragnussen/Newton is too stupid or too lazy to

It seems certain iPhone 14 models aren’t selling too well (maybe just in

I’ve not been watching sales of the standard model but the Pros have been selling out in all capacities. No Pro Max stock of any size yet, this at my local Apple store.

That sounds a bit odd to me: who buys a new iPhone and then a week later
trades it in? Presumably only someone who has had some kind of emergency
and find they need the money more than the phone. In that case supply and hence used prices really depend on the prevalence of emergencies which is a measure of the economy, not the phone. There hasn't really been enough time
to establish prices based on sales figures.

Or I suppose people who buy the phone and really hate it - but then I'd have thought they would be able to return it.

Yes I was confused by that but I would probably be after a new phone
especially if Apple decide to discount them.

That sounds a bit odd to me: who buys a new iPhone and then a week later
trades it in? Presumably only someone who has had some kind of emergency
and find they need the money more than the phone. In that case supply and >> hence used prices really depend on the prevalence of emergencies which is a >> measure of the economy, not the phone. There hasn't really been enough time >> to establish prices based on sales figures.

Or I suppose people who buy the phone and really hate it - but then I'd have >> thought they would be able to return it.

Yes I was confused by that but I would probably be after a new phone especially if Apple decide to discount them.

I'd assume those percentage drops are the buy in values as they are averages
of information from sellers of pre owned phones.
Who will obviously re sell at a profit. And 10 days is a stupid time frame as owners would still have the option to return the phone for a full refund.
The current worldwide economic situation is going to impact on sales in general. Not really surprising.
