Every time I turn on my mac after turning it off, this appears when I turn it
    back on:
*You shut down your computer because a problem*

    MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)

Anyone who has experienced this problem?

    Thanks in Advance!
    Matt.

    How did you shut down?

Normal, I finish working, browsing the web, organizing files, or any task, >>>> then I turn off the MAC as usual.

    Im running Monterrey 12.1

That doesn't really answer the question. Do you "shut down" via the finder >>> menu or simply turn off the power?

    Sorry David.....Via the Finder.

I meant....going to the Apple menu and then clicking "Shut Down"

I just downloaded and ran Onyx (Maintenance), the MAC rebooted and now it
    turns on OK.

Thanks to you all for helping me!
    Matt.
