I setup a log in for the above. It asked for an email. I use a Yahoo
    webmail for non-shopping duties.
Above forum asked to verify email. Nothing happens. Rang up tech
support on 150. They looked at their end, then I could access above
    forum.
    Good then... see below

and a @blueyonder.co.uk email which I access via Firefox. Well, I
could do so. Then today, it keeps on saying:
"We didn't recognise the username or password you entered. Please try
    again.".
Eventually tech support said my new email is my Yahoo one. I told them
why should I want to access my Yahoo on my @blueyonder.co.uk on VM
email log in?? When separately I can
access Yahoo web-email (send - receive is fine).
They then said they can change my webmail (@blueyonder.co.uk)
password. It went through... guess what?
Still "We didn't recognise the username or password you entered.
    Please try again."
They said I can setup another @blueyonder.co.uk account. I replied
that why should I lose all my emails??
Now VM is saying that secondary support is looking into this and can 5
    working days.

Now https://community.virginmedia.com/ is asking to verify my Yahoo
email that I used to register with them again.
But I never get a verification link sent to me!!
"Try again later". Waited a few hours. Nothing.

These indian so called "tech support" are worthless.

Community fibre were offering a 1 Gigabit connection for £25 per month
with no price increase. I wish I took the offer up.
I am currently on 200 Mbit down, 20 up.
Getting 200 down and 22-22 up.

Why not set up your own domain name and email hosting with a reputable supplier?

Last few times I asked for support from VM I got much more help from the "digital team" on Twitter. Because they as "digital" only they do not
use the phone but they opened up a chat facility on my desktop when appropriate.

You haven't been able to create new @blueyoner.co.uk email accounts since
    the VM rebranding in 2006.

I replied that why should I lose all my emails??

You can keep your existing primary @blueyonder.co.uk email and create an
    extra 9 @virginmedia.com email accounts.

Twitter: I will look into this.
"VM > sign in > my profile > manage accounts > create new account"
I sadly cannot even sign into this.

Yahoo mail can be pretty useless for signing up to things. The Spam
filters juts chuck away lots of stuff, without putting in the SPAM
folder and I guess so many people mark messages from Virgin as SPAM they
    just throw it all away.

So its pointless complaining to Virgin that Yahoo bins their e-mails,
you need to complain to Yahoo or ditch it for a supplier who passes more
    mail through.

I see AOL and SKY also do the same (you will have to stick the URL back)

    https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Email/emails-not-getting-to-yahoo-email-address/td-p/4874314

my observation is that its easy to design an e-mail system that is SPAM
    free, just reject all e-mails....

Agree. But I actually got onto their online community after asking
    again for a verification email.
Ended up in my spam folder.
Now I am waiting for VM to sort out my web mail.
