• Trip to the Tip?

From Jeff Gaines@21:1/5 to All on Tue Nov 16 15:53:47 2021
I'm having a sort out in the hope of moving home.

    I have:

Courier modem with its original cables
    Dozen or so splitter/filters
    Loads of RJ45/Phone connector cables
    Heaps of SCART cables
Bits of what look like NTE5 (?) boxes

I don't think they will make a comeback, is it tip time?

    I will keep my 2 x BBC B, 2 x BBC Master, brand new 5.25 floppy + disks,
cables etc. grandson might be able to sell them in a few years.

Is it one that can read UK caller id?

I don't think there were any 'phones capable of doing that in those days - Demon "Tenner a Month" times.

You need to book a slot at some of the busier sites
in west sussex, not sure about your county.

RJ45 cables are always needed shortly after disposal.

I think you can take electrical items to certain stores - I took a broken microwave, and a couple of carrier bags of old cables, PSUs and network
gubbins to my local Currys for example.

    Yup :-)
