• Crucial BX -v- MX

From Jeff Gaines@21:1/5 to All on Mon Oct 21 09:27:26 2024
I am trying to clean up my data storage and backups and a 4 TB SSD would
    make life easier.

I mentioned Crucial in here a while back and was told they were fine but
"get the MX" - I think!

Have I remembered that properly or was it "get the BX"?

At the moment i think an SSD will be better than an NVMe because it can go
in a PC, NAS or DAS so is more flexible.

    Many thanks :-)

No worries, they have stopped making the MX!

The MX had slighly faster read write speeds. Looks like the market has
decided that it was not worth the extra cost.
