Previous posts refer to the general problems I've been having with elderly cable routers, WiFi outdoors etc.
Because I had to move the TP-Link cable router (fudged as an AP) upstairs
to be the main router, I was left with a gap in the WiFi coverage.
I decided to buy an AP to fill the gap.
I chose

which I had never heard of purely because it fitted directly into a 13A
socket and suited the location.
I also began to understand what AX3000 was.
Anyway, it turned up today, I did the quick set up using the YouTube
video, and all seems to be working OK.
The big difference is that I now seem to have WiFi signal down to the shed
at the bottom of the garden.
Presumably to the WiFi 6 beam shaping (or whatever).
This could remove the need for an external AP - we shall see.
Onwards with the search for a modern cable router.
Cheers
