Tidying up after all my recent changes I had a final swap to make in my
DAS - out with an SSD to use elsewhere and in with a 2.5" laptop spinner.
Made the physical change then fired up Mini Tool Partition Wizard to
delete all the stuff off the old spinner that had been in a NAS.
Looked for the drive with lots of small partitions (which is how QNAP
works), deleted them all, final check before pressing "Apply" and realised
the drive was only 500 GB - it was the boot NVMe!
I backed all the way out then closed Partition Wizard and started again.
If I had pressed "Apply" would it have stripped the boot drive or would "something" have stopped it?
