Unless things have changed recently, you're wasting the potential of
that K-SKU CPU on a B-motherboard. The K tag indicates the CPU is an overclocker, but that's not something the B-series motherboard will
allow. For the best match you'd want to either save a few pennies and
get a non-K CPU, or spend a few extra and get a Z-series motherboard.

Hi, can someone double check me pls?

I'm about to buy the bits below. Should they all
be ok together? Been a while since I built this
    W7 box.
Intel Core i7 12700K 12th Gen Alder Lake 12 Core
    Processor
ASUS ROG STRIX B760-A Gaming WiFi ATX Motherboard
    Microsoft Windows 11 - Home 64bit OEM - 1 License

    Solid State Drive
    Kingston FURY Beast 16GB 6000MHz DDR5 CL36 DIMM

Im hoping it will work with my Nvidia 1050ti card
    for now

    Cheers people!

Obviously don't get the ASUS ROG STRIX B760-A Gaming WiFi D4 variant,
seems a potential search engine trap to have two names *that* similar.

    Kingston FURY Beast 16GB 6000MHz DDR5 CL36 DIMM Memory

The memory support list only says CL40 not CL36, so you might not wring
the last dregs of speed out of the memory.

speed did nothing (perhaps lack of power?).
