• Windows 11 desktop oddity

If I don't use my Windows 11 desktop for a few days (> a week?) then it
will reboot after I shut it down. No messages, just a reboot. Shut it
down again and it stays off.

    Anyone any thoughts?

It's probably installing updates. I have that with a Macbook that's dual
boot. I shut down Windows 10, it powers off. Next time I boot Windows it starts Windows, then reboots, but the default OS in the bootloader is MacOS
so it boots into that. I have to shut down MacOS and choose Windows
    at the bootloader again.

It might be the shutdown button says 'update and shut down' but you don't notice that.
