  • Replacement Dell laptop battery - any good suppliers?

    I bought a replacement for another Dell laptop which seems fine.
    However www.replacement-batteries.co.uk doesn't seem to be there any more.

    I am suspicious of the cheapness of Amazon offerings.

    Does anyone know of a current reliable supplier?

    iFixit. But they may not stock them.

    Given that every laptop revision seems to have a different battery, supply seems to be very hit and miss.

    Last December I found a battery for my ageing XPS13 via Google at Subtel.co.uk. After a few months (actually little used) it had lost a lot of capacity and eventually refused to charge. I contacted them, they asked a few questions and pointed out they offer a three year warranty, so of course they'd be sending me a replacement (which works fine).

    I've just bought a replacement from the Amazon UK Dell store which I'm
    hoping will be authentic ;-) Worth a look at least.
