From Jeff Gaines@21:1/5 to All on Wed Apr 19 14:26:18 2023
I use Bluemail on Android so decided to try it on Windows. Had to download
it from the Windows store but it installed, I didn't like it and tried to un-install it. It doesn't appear in "Programs & Features" so I ended up scraping the files of the PC one by one, except for one which I just
couldn't remove. That was 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Today a popup appeared and it has apparently re-installed itself.

I don't use any of these mini apps or whatever they are called so this is
new territory to me. I have emailed the owners but can anybody tell me how
to delete these annoying apps please?

assuming win10 or win11, from settings/apps/installed apps click the
    relevant app's [...] and uninstall

Many thanks for the replies :-)

The first time I used one of these apps it took up the whole screen and wouldn't sit side by side with other windows so I haven't use any since. I managed to un-install it using Andy's instructions, thanks!

Windows would be so much better if it concentrated on the desktop and left Android to do the single app touch screen stuff.

It's worth trying the very useful Revo Uninstaller (free version available). I always have it available - if you have to uninstall any of the major antivirus programs Revo will discover and delete many hundreds of files and registry items otherwise left behind for eternity, and about half of all things I've run it on have left something behind. Used it for years - no downside.
