• StackOverFlow Alternative?

From Jeff Gaines@21:1/5 to All on Tue Feb 7 12:56:53 2023
I have the honour of being banned from asking questions on StackOverFlow "because most of your questions need improvement or are out of scope for
this site". I have no idea what that means, I have asked 7 questions in
about 13 months and not one has been answered, perhaps they are too
    difficult.

I do remember when I asked about a forum for programming somebody in here (sorry, can't remember who) said StackOverFlow was quite a long way up its
    own arse, apparently spot on!

Are there alternatives that people can recommend? I have been desperately looking for a ListView replacement and there aren't many about. I ended up
with ObjectListView but it seems it stopped development in 2016 and there
is no activity on its forum (apart from me!).

Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated :-)

I believe I suggested StackOverFlow at some point, but it wasnt me that suggested its up its own arseĀ  ...

Have you tried looking at rudd-o.com to see if you can get a word in on
there ? - If not, its an amusing detour

I suggested it on 10/4/22 in a thread of yours with the subject "Testing
    CPU"

Thats less than 13 months ago - so you must have been on StackOverFlow
    already

Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it whether it exists
or not, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedies.

    CollectionView?

Another part of the Xamarin.Forms rabbit hole which I have no experience
    or little current interest.

There seem to be various migration guides on google and youtube.

I have just discovered that I was awarded a bronze medal for my
participation, that was just before I was banned :-)
