There are three types of death:

1. In consciousness / mental;
2. In body / physical;
3. In Spirit-Soul / etheric.

1. happened before the creation of matter
when only Spirit GOD and Spirit-Souls existed.

2. happened to Adam and Eve and their progeny
after their creation.

3. will happen to those Spirit-Souls that will be
cast into the lake of fire burning with brimstone aka
the second death aka Hell which will separate Soul from
Spirit and the individual entity or being then no longer
exist and never exist again.

3. is called the second death in The Holy Bible because the
Spirit-Souls that will be cast into the lake of fire aka Hell will be the Spirit-Souls that experienced the death in consciousness and
never repented of it or did not stay repented of it and so will be additionally experiencing another death - the etheric one -
and both of these deaths pertain to the Spirit-Soul
so second death meaning second death of the Spirit-Soul
and both deaths pertain to the wicked.

That Spirit-Soul firstly incarnate as Adam and lastly incarnate as Jesus,
did indeed die a physical death as Jesus,

and then after being glorified by GOD while on the other side
during the three days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday),
did enter back into his physical body lain in the sepulcher
and revivified it and walked out of the tomb in it and so
was indeed resurrected back to Earth life
(which is what resurrection means)
and showed his same body and its
nail and spear prints to his people.

Glorification is a reconfiguration of the Spirit-Soul,
giving it all power pertaining to matter and movement,
able to move and materialize and dematerialize at will,
or as Jesus put it able to come and go like the wind (John 3),
plus able to enter into a physical body as Jesus thus did to his own.

The glorified Spirit-Soul can and will never die again any sort of death,
and is become eternal and immortal and indestructible, including not being amenable to the lake of fire aka second death aka Hell:

REVELATION 2
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh [Satan Self Sin] shall not be hurt of the second death.

REVELATION 20
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:
on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

REVELATION 21
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers,
and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

P.S. In John 3, Jesus also referred to this glorification of the
Spirit-Soul by GOD as being a second birth, and the first birth
having been the physical birth by natal sac fluid / water,
and being a necessity for one to be able to enter into the
kingdom of GOD or in other words on the day of his slated return
be one of the ones deemed righteous by GOD and so glorified and
raptured to the air above the clouds above Mount Olives to be there
to meet and greet and remain there with descending Jesus and
then during an evening hour come through the clouds above
Mount Olives with him and descend to Mount Olives with him
and then help to kill the wicked in that area with him
and then spend one thousand years straight of peace and joy
with him on Earth sans the wicked and thus be part of the
group that is called The First Resurrection which is this
en masse resurrection back to Earth life of the righteous
including Jesus. Amen!

P.P.S. The Second Resurrection back to Earth life will be
en masse of the wicked after the end of the one thousand years straight
and they will number as the sand of the sea (Revelation 20).
But shortly later they will gather together to war against Jesus and
the righteous and so before they can even try to do this GOD will rain
a FIRE down onto them that will burn their physical bodies to a crisp
and then they will find themselves on the other side again only this time standing along with the righteous Spirit-Souls in front of GOD sitting on a great white throne (Revelation 20). The Second Judgment of all Spirit-Souls will then occur and then the wicked will thus be cast into the lake of fire aka second death aka Hell, and then Jesus and the righteous will enter into heavenly etheric New Jerusalem and spend an eternity of harmony peace joy with THE VERY GOD that created them in the first place and ultimately for this very purpose: ETERNAL COMPANIONSHIP WITH HIM FOR THOSE WHO MADE THEMSELVES WORTHY OF SAME. AMEN!
