在苹果公司(Apple, AAPL)计划于今年晚些时候推出自己的AI产品之前，据报道，苹果公司已经收购了一家加拿大人工智能(AI)初创公司。

彭博(Bloomberg)称，苹果公司收购了DarwinAI，并且自己的AI团队又扩充了几十名员工。DarwinAI致力于把AI系统打造得更小型和更快速。

这宗收购交易似乎契合了苹果公司自身的AI开发行动： 苹果公司的员工去年发表了一篇研究论文，重点探讨了如何利用有限的内存运行大语言模型。

苹果公司暂未回复置评请求，并对其他媒体表示该公司会时不时会收购一些小公司，但苹果公司没有特意证实这笔交易。

有关苹果公司收购DarwinAI的报道里没有披露这笔交易的财务条款。根据Crunchbase的数据，DarwinAI有12个投资者，其中包括霍尼韦尔(Honeywell)的风险投资部门。

苹果公司股价在周四上涨，但今年以来已累计下跌10%。

据报道，苹果公司(Apple, AAPL)正在与谷歌(Google)洽谈在新版iPhone中使用谷歌的Gemini人工智能(AI)引擎。

如果协议达成，将极大地推动谷歌Gemini AI模型的发展，同时也可能意味着，苹果公司开发自身AI能力的进展可能比投资者希望的要慢。

苹果公司股价在盘前交易中上涨了1%，今年迄今为止已经下跌了10%。谷歌母公司Alphabet (GOOG)的股价在盘前交易中上涨了3%，2024年迄今为止上涨了1%。
