The following is a scenario of 12 major events to occur in our
near future. They have been put together by Bible prophecy experts, theologians, and current events analysts. The exact order of events is
not known, but they are presented in their approximate most likely order.
1. An increase in wars, famines, disease and earthquakes
“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places” (Matthew 24:7)

We are seeing an increase in military unrest such as in Somalia, Sudan, Bosnia, Palestine, and Kuwait. The Jimmy Carter Center even now is
monitoring over 112 armed conflicts world-wide. Many more people will be effected by famines; many areas in Africa and also North Korea are experiencing this, and China may be next.

Diseases such as the Ebola strain will become more widespread. The AIDS crisis will continue to worsen. Right now over one million Americans have HIV, and half of them don’t even realize it.

The number of earthquakes will continue to increase. History shows that
the number of killer earthquakes worldwide remained constant until the
1950s, averaging between two to four per decade. In the 1950s there were nine.
In the 1960s there were 13. In the 1970s there were 51. In the 1980s
there were 86. from 1990 through 1996 there have been more than 150!

2. The worst economic depression in U.S. history (Deuteronomy 28:38-48 applied to America)

The United States will soon experience total economic collapse. The
national debt is now over five trillion (5,000,000,000,000) dollars. If
that amount was put end to end in a line of 100 dollar bills, the line
would extend over 4.5 million miles. The debt is increasing at a rate of
$600 million every day

Ever increasing amounts of revenues are being spent just to pay the
interest on the debt. The federal government will soon reach the point
where it will not be able to fund itself. It will then be forced to “monotize” the debt; that is, print up extra money to cover the huge interest payments. Inflation will then skyrocket (like it did in post WWI Germany and also in Argentina), and the U.S. dollar will become virtually worthless. The ECU (Eurodollar) will replace the U.S. dollar to become
the world’s standard currency.

Economically, America will be ruined. Massive poverty, rampant crime and social disorder will prevail. The U.S. will have too many internal
problems to function as a world power.

3. The Russian attack on Israel (Ezekiel 38,39)

Russia will come under the power of a new strong dictator, who will be a communist or a strong nationalist. He will decide to invade the middle
east. Once in the middle east the Russian army will attack Israel, along
with other allies including Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Egypt, Ethiopia and
Libya. The United States being isolationist and in economic chaos, will
only protest this attack but will be in no position to respond. As the invading armies approach Jerusalem, they will be completely destroyed, by
a combination of a massive earthquake, infighting, and possibly a nuclear weapon.

The popular Russian politician, General Labed, who could win in the next Russian elections, has stated that he wishes to invade the middle east. Colonel Kadaffi, dictator of Libya, recently said, “the time has come to wage a holy jihad (war) to liberate Jerusalem.”

4. A one-world religion led by a great prophet
The new age movement will continue to grow, and with the ecumenical
movement, the World Council of Churches and various unity-oriented
religions (such as the Bahais and the Unitarians), the movement will
blossom into a global superchurch.

A prophet will arise as a leader of the movement. He will be heralded as
a model of self-realization and will even be able to perform many signs
and wonders, such as making fire come from the sky. He will support the powerful leader who will rise up to lead the European Union. The two will work for global political and religious unity.

5. All genuine Christians disappear (Matthew 24:31)

Most likely just shortly before the 7-year Israel peace treaty (see no.
6), every genuine Christian on earth will vanish into thin air! Millions
will be missing. All sorts of explanations will be offered - radiation levels, UFOs, “mother earth” cleansing herself of those unwilling to move into the New Age, etc. The truth is that God will take up (rapture) the
true believers in Christ up to Heaven to spare them from his wrath and
anger that will be poured down upon the earth.

6. The rise of Europe as a superpower under the great leader (Daniel
7:23-26)

The European Union will become more centralized, with a common currency
and a common army. Then, in the midst of the economic chaos, a
charismatic leader will arise and take full control of the European Union.
He will unite the EU into a superpower and will implement effective
economic programs.

He will solve a very volatile situation in the middle east and bring peace
by signing a 7-year treaty with Israel. Under the conditions of this
treaty, his European military will provide full protection to Israel, and
the Jews will be allowed to rebuild the Jewish temple in Jerusalem. They
will do so quickly and animal sacrifices will be reinstated. The Jews
will see the European Leader as their Messiah.

7. The cashless society and the mark (Revelation 13:16-18)

The collapse of the U.S. economy will plunge the whole world into economic chaos. The European leader will save the currencies of the U.S. and other nations by buying out those currencies. The ECU “Eurodollar” will become the currency used worldwide. The European leader will effectively link
all other nations into the European Union and, in effect, become leader of the entire world!

The leader will then introduce a worldwide cashless system. With this
system, all transactions will be electronic; there will be no cash. This
will eliminate cash theft, counterfeiting, cash for drugs deals and tax fraud. Instead of using credit or debit cards, the system will use
high-tech extremely small (virtually invisible) microchips injected into
the skin on the right hand or forehead of each consumer.

Each person’s microchip will have all of that person’s personal and financial information. All transactions will be carried out by computer scanners similar to those used today. Once the program is implemented, it will be impossible to buy or sell without the microchip implant (known as “the mark”) on the right hand or forehead.

In order to receive the mark, however, one will have to pledge complete loyalty to the new world leader. It should be noted, however, that this charismatic leader of the European Union, who will become the world
leader, and who will implement this system, will be the antichrist! The
book of Revelation clearly describes this cashless system:

“He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or forehead, so that no one could buy
or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast, for it is
a man’s number. His number is 666.” (Rev. 13:16-18)

666 and the trend towards a cashless society

The number 666 is a key number in some types of computer programming. On
the UPC code, for example, a pair of two thin lines separated by a thin
space always represents the number six. Almost all UPC labels have 3 of
these pairs of lines (a little longer than the others, one on the left,
one on the right, one in the middle) but for some reason they do not have numbers beneath them. Therefore virtually every UPC label has 6-6-6! The
UPC code is not sinister or evil of course, but is a stepping stone to the cashless society and an illustration of the link between consumer
computing and 666.

The cashless society is nearly here. Gas stations, Movie Theaters and now even MacDonald’s and Burger King are accepting credit cards. Newspaper vending machines that accept only cards are being used in some locations. Analysts now say that within 5 years every American will have a “smart card” (all accounts combined on one card) and electronic transactions will be the standard. Bank machines will soon be giving out electronic
transfers onto personal cards instead of cash.

The technology for the microchip implant “Mark of the Beast” already exists. Millions of animals have been injected with microchip implants
for identification purposes. They are also being tested for use on babies
and military personnel.
Consumer advocate Ralph Nader recently said, “Is there a number or a mark planned for the hand or forehead in a new cashless society? Yes, and I
have seen the machines that are now ready to put into operation.”

8. The Antichrist breaks the peace treaty with Israel (Daniel 9:27)

The World leader (antichrist) will receive a fatal wound to the head, but will miraculously recover. The world will be amazed. He will then break
his 7 year treaty with Israel after the first 3 and a half years. He will enter the rebuilt Jewish temple and declare himself to be God! An image (possibly a high-tech 3-D hologram) of him will be set up in the temple
and people will be forced to worship it. Those refusing to worship the
image and those refusing to receive the mark of the beast on the right
hand or forehead will be sentenced to death. The guillotine will be the
main form of execution.

9. Terrible disasters and plagues (Revelation 16)

Conditions will worsen. There will be 2 prophets of God in Israel who
will call down various plagues of judgment on the world. The antichrist
will have them killed, but 3 days later they will rise again from dead and
be taken up to heaven. This will probably be seen on worldwide
television. Many will die from poisoned water. The seas and rivers will
turn to blood. The sun will scorch people with intense heat. Each person
with the mark of the beast will develop a large painful sore on the place where the mark was injected. Finally, a great earthquake will occur,
wiping out the mountains and islands. Huge hailstones weighing about 100 pounds each will fall from the sky.

10. The Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:12-16)

Also during this time, China and some other Asian nations will invade the middle east with an army of 200,000,000 men! They will cross the
Euphrates (which will have dried up) and will invade Israel. They will encounter the armies of the antichrist in the Valley of Armageddon.
Millions will die in the ensuing battle.

11. The second coming of Christ (Revelation 19,20)

Just when the Battle of Armageddon is about to escalate into a global
nuclear war, Jesus Christ will return to earth in all his glory with the armies of Heaven. The antichrist and his gathered armies will attempt to fight against Christ and his army, but they will be defeated. The
antichrist will be captured, and along with the false one-world religion prophet, will be cast alive into the lake of fire. Jesus Christ will then physically reign from Jerusalem over the earth for 1,000 years. There
will be a final rebellion at the end of that millennium which will fail. There will then be a new heaven and a new earth.
12. Judgment day (Revelation 20)

If anyone’s name is not found written in the book of life, he will be thrown into the lake of fire.

What to do in light of these coming events -
First, when the cashless society is put into place with the mark
on the right hand or forehead, DO NOT RECEIVE THE MARK! The Bible says:
“If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark
on the forehead or hand, he, too will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be
tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of
the lamb” (Revelation 14:9-10)
Second, prepare yourself spiritually so that you will have nothing to
fear.
Current events indicate that the end times are near. It is
estimated that the vast majority of the world’s population will die during the events described here (the 7 year period, which begins with the Antichrist’s treaty with Israel is called “the Great Tribulation.”). There is a way to prepare yourself so that you will have nothing to fear:
We are not good people, even if we think we are
One of the reasons God will allow these crazy events to occur is
to show us the end product of what our immoral selves can bring about if
not stopped - A world dictator worse than Hitler, and occulted world
religion and world War III!
Nearly 2,000 years ago the Apostle Paul accurately described what people
in the 1990s would be like:
“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers
of god - having a form of godliness but denying its power. (2 Timothy
3:1-5a)
Can anyone deny that this is a description of us? We all have had
wrong attitudes and actions and fall short of God’s perfect standard: “For
all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
None of us deserves to go to heaven. Rather, all of us deserve
eternal death (separation from God) for our sins (the wrong things we have done) That place of separation is called hell. “The wages of sin is death.” (Romans 3:23)
How to be freed from your guilt
Because God is holy and just, he demands that someone pay the
penalty for any sin committed. In order to pay the penalty for your own
sins, you will have to spend eternity in punishment (the lake of fire).
The only other solution is to find someone else to pay the penalty for you (someone who does not have their own sins to pay for).
The good news is that someone did pay the penalty for you - Jesus
Christ. When he suffered and died on the cross he was punished for all of your sins. He offers you forgiveness - if you choose to accept Him into
your life as your Lord and Savior.. Because He is the only one who paid
the penalty for your sins, He is the only way you can reach God.
“Christ died for our sins... he was buried... he was raised on the third day...”(I Corinthians 15:3)
(Christ speaking) “I am the way and the truth and the life.
No-one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and asking Christ to come into our lives forgive our sins, and make us into the kind
of people He wants us to be. Just to agree that Jesus is the Son of God
is not enough. You need to receive Christ as an act of your will.
(Christ speaking) “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if
anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him.” (Revelation 3:20)
Once you accept Christ, be sure to get involved in a
Bible-teaching church or fellowship.
